Personal Statement:
I am a hard-working, high-achieving student (4.05/4.2GPA), studying electronic engineering at UCD having achieved a 625 Points Leaving Cert and been awarded the Ad Astra Academic Scholarship. I have many hobbies in: 3D printing, programming, electronics and circuit design, home networking, mechanical engineering, mathematics and electric guitar. I am eagerly carving my path toward a career in electronic engineering and technology with a long term goal of becoming an entrepreneur. A full portfolio of my past projects can be found here.
Core Skills:
- 1 Year of software engineering work experience at Grinds360 developing the ExamCreator system.

- Attended the Patch Accelerator in 2024 where I lead a team to build a robot dog which is now displayed in Dogpatch Labs. 
- 3rd Year UCD Electronic Engineering with 4.05/4.2 GPA. 
- Achieved first class honors grade in DCU Early University Entrance programme. 
- Studying for a pilot’s license having recently completed my first solo flight (approx 60% finished) 
- Designed and manufactured an electric go-kart and displayed at school science week. 
Work Experience:
- Grinds360: - 1 Year of software engineering work experience. 
- Worked as a software engineer in a team of 3 to develop the ExamCreator tool. 
- Developed a pipeline for the collection of a dataset of exam questions tagged by topics, year, etc 
- Automated many administrative processes using custom software. 
- Improved my leadership, business and teamwork skills. 
 
- Patch 2024: - Attended the Patch summer accelerator 2024 in Dogpatch Labs. 
- Lead a team to build a robot dog in 6 weeks (which could stand on its own power! 
- Strengthened my communication and leadership skills. 
- Built up a network of founders and ambitious, like-minded people. 
- The robot dog is now on display in the lobby of Dogpatch Labs! 
 
- Ericsson: - Successfully applied to Ericsson Transition year work experience programme. 
- Learned about telecommunications, communication and teamwork. 
- Collaborated with a team to make a multi-page website in html/css/js for a group project. 
 
- Tutoring and Correction for The Dublin Academy of Education: - Tutored maths at a leaving cert level to a peer student group. 
- Corrected Maths and Physics exams and tests. 
 
- Creation of drone footage for Blackrock College: - Regularly took drone footage of development at Blackrock.
